A rare bird encounter-Mallee Fowls

I have only ever seen two Mallee Fowls in the wild many years ago on separate occasions.
I did manage to get two photos of one.
The other flew across the road.

Also I have seen their nests active and empty.
Also my father in law had one in his aviary for many years.
I heard an interview about this rare event on the ABC radio one day.
