The Grampians- A great Getaway

The Grampian mountains in Victoria,Australia is a great place to have a relaxing country holiday.
These mountains are about 5 or 6 hours from Adelaide or Melbourne by road.
They abrubtly rise out of the Wimmera Plains and are near Horsham and Stawell.
There are lots of places you can stay.
On our last visit in 2007 we stayed at the Grelco Run, a Bed and Breakfast that also caters for Horse Riders.

It is on the outskirts of the Grampians but a great place for walking, relaxing and photography.
Below are some photos for your enjoyment.
We were there not long after serious bushfires in the area.
