Mannum Waterfalls

The Mannum Waterfalls have been a well kept secret for many years in South Australia.
The secret is prpbably well kept because there is hardly a waterfall to be seen.
What you do see is a spectacular landscape with a creek running down between massive granite boulders.
It is very photogenic.
You need to be reasonably fit and agile to hike the whole trail to the top.
I wasn't.
There is a bottom car park and a top one.
It is only about 8 mins drive from Mannum towards Murray Bridge.
There are some public toilets.
On day 2 of our weekend we went there for a look.
The last time I visited was about 40 years ago when we were still using film for photography.
Here are some pics.

Weekend away to Mannum South Australia day 1

Because we can we had another short covid break in Mannum South Australia which is 90mins from our place. A historic country town on the River Murray.
Beautiful old buildings.
Lovely Caravan Park.
Mannum Riverside Caravan Park
Great old antique shops and used clothes.
The Mannum Motel just near the caravan park had a very nice dining room and meals were very good.
Atmosphere great and staff very friendly.
