I recently came across an amazing panoramic photograph taken in the first world war time.
My Grandfather the late Bill Buck, was an Australian Infantry Soldier based in England during the first world war.
The photograph is of soldiers taken at the Headquarters Gymnasium Aldershot.
Here is a link to a blog article about this place.

The pic was taken by Panora Ltd. who specialised in panoramic group photos of large groups.
I have managed to scan the photo into 5 separate pics but have not been able to merge them into a successful digital panorama yet.
If anyone can advise I would be grateful.
PS. I think I know what I did wrong now so watch this space.
