I live in Adelaide South Australia.
In many of our South Australian suburbs the name includes Park in it but is not the name of an actual park, just the suburb. eg Melrose Park,Banksia Park, Brooklyn Park,Kidman Park etc.
Within these suburbs are nice public parks and an abundance of wildlife including lots of birds.
It is springtime in Adelaide and the backyard gardens and streets and parks are full of birds feeding and making nests and having baby birds.
We took our granddaughter to a local park today and were astonished to see a wild duck lay an egg right in front of us.
What a privilege to be so close and part of God's creation.
Anyway below are some of the birds commonly found in much of Suburban Adelaide and South Australia.
I will add to this as I find pictures in my archives and take new ones.
See the link below to a news item about coming to South Australia for Bird Watching.
I am happy to give guidance or assistance in Birdwatching and Bird Photography in South Australia.
