"frill" The Frog Mouth Baby

Some time ago I posted about Australia;s wonderful heritage of writers about Nature and Natural History.

One such writer and photographer was Ronald K. Monro who died young in war time.
 Below is a short story from his only book and introduction by Charles Barrett who was also a prolific author and expert of his day.

Since I posted this I have had contact with Ron Monro's son Robin.
That's one of the wonderful things about the internet.
I have now found many of the photos that Ron took in the 2nd world war at the Australian War Museum.
