Lesley and I have just returned from 4 days in Melbourne, Victoria including a day in Ballarat. We went to see the  sequel to the Musical "The Phantom of the Opera" called "Love Never Dies".The cast and production and the music was magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We had a wonderful time also fitting in visits to the Melbourne Art Gallery, The St. Kilda Markets, a Fete put on by the St Mary's Coptic Parish; a former convent in Daylesford that is now an art gallery and function centre, book shop and cafe;the towns of Creswick, Trentham, a country smallgoods factory, a natural spring in the Wombat State Forest , Trentham Falls and also  nights out with our Canberra Rellies who we travelled with and a meal at a Ballarat Steak House.Combine all this with lots of photo opportunities of Gold rush days architecture and even a demonstration march in the streets of Melbourne by the Falun Gong Movement,  It's good to be home.

1 Corinthians 13 tells us that all gifts and talents including faith and hope will one day disappear but Love does go on forever. It does not die. If people only realised that God is Love and He took the form of Jesus to demonstrate that Love to us and how we are loved in spite of our sin what a wonderful world we would have. But that wonderful world will be realised in Heaven. It can start in this life if we realise what Jesus has made possible.
Indeed it needs to start in this life!
